About Troll Trials
Troll Trials looks like the easiest platformer ever made: walk right, jump a little, reach the green door. But every single level is rigged against you. The floor you trusted disappears under your feet. The spikes wait until you are mid-jump before sliding into place. The ceiling drops the moment you walk under it, the controls flip when you least expect it, and sometimes the door simply gets up and runs away. Dying is part of the joke — runs restart instantly and your death counter keeps the score of your suffering. The fun is in the second attempt: now you know the trick, and beating a level that just trolled you feels fantastic. Fifteen hand-built trials escalate from cheeky to downright evil, mixing vanishing platforms, crushers, ghost floors, inverted controls and low-gravity chaos. Short, funny and maddeningly replayable — perfect for one-more-try sessions.
How to play Troll Trials
Reach the green door at the end of each level — that's the whole rule. Everything else is a trap. Platforms may vanish or fall when you step on them, spikes pop up where you are about to land, ceiling blocks crush downward, and on some levels your controls invert mid-run. Die and you restart the level instantly with everything reset. Learn each level's trick, then execute. Fifteen levels stand between you and the ending; your total deaths are tallied at the finish.
Controls
Arrow keys or A/D to move, W / Up / Space to jump. On-screen buttons on mobile. M mutes, and your progress is saved automatically.
Tips & tricks
- Walk slowly into new ground — tap forward and be ready to jump back.
- If a path looks obviously safe, it probably is not.
- Watch which platforms flicker after you touch them — that is your 1-second warning.
- When controls invert, your character turns orange; stop moving and recalibrate.
- Death is free. Use a cheap death to scout the trap, then do the real run.
