A platformer that lies to your face. Floors blink out from under you, spikes ambush you mid-jump, ceilings come crashing down and the door itself bolts. Survive 15 trick-filled trials, and trust nothing.
On paper, Troll Trials is the gentlest platformer going: walk right, hop over a thing or two, touch the green door. Every level is rigged, though. That solid floor? Gone the second you step on it. Spikes hang back until you're airborne, then slide neatly into your landing spot. Walk under a ceiling and it drops on you. The controls flip when you least expect, and now and then the door just stands up and sprints away. Dying isn't a failure here, it's the punchline. Runs restart instantly and a death counter keeps a running tally of your suffering. The real joy is the second go: you know the trick now, and clearing a level that humiliated you a moment ago feels fantastic. Fifteen hand-built trials climb from cheeky to flat-out evil, mixing vanishing platforms, crushers, ghost floors, inverted controls and low-gravity chaos. It's short, it's funny, and it's maddeningly replayable, made for those one-more-try nights.
Reach the green door at the end of each level. That's it. That's the whole rule, and everything else is a trap. Platforms might vanish or drop the moment you stand on them, spikes pop up right where you're about to land, ceiling blocks crush straight down, and a few levels invert your controls mid-run. Die and the level resets instantly, everything back to the start. Figure out each level's gimmick, then nail it. Fifteen levels sit between you and the ending, and your total deaths get tallied when you finish.
