Tile Rhythm
A 4-lane rhythm game where you tap the falling tiles. Dark tiles drop toward a glowing line, and you hit the lane the instant they land, playing a real piano melody as you go.
About Tile Rhythm
Tile Rhythm turns four glowing lanes into an instrument you can actually play. Dark tiles fall toward a hit line down near the bottom, and the whole thing comes down to one idea: tap each lane the exact moment a tile lands. Every clean hit fires off a soft, piano-like note from a built-in synth, so a good run doesn't just rack up points. It plays the tune. There are four hand-built songs: an easy public-domain Twinkle motif, a flowing original called Aurora Drift, an upbeat Joy Path, and a fast original arpeggio study with tap-and-hold notes you have to press and sustain. Timing gets graded Perfect, Good or Miss based on how close you land to the line, and a combo multiplier pays off long flawless streaks. The health bar is forgiving, so a few slips won't end your run, though careless taps on empty lanes and missed tiles will drain it. Each song wraps up with a Song Clear screen showing your score, accuracy and letter grade. Your best per song is saved, so there's always a number to beat.
How to play Tile Rhythm
Pick a song, then watch the dark tiles fall and tap each lane the instant its tile reaches the glowing hit line. Land a Perfect for full points, Good for most of them, and try hard not to let a tile slip past untapped. Long tiles are holds: press, keep that lane held down until the trailing bar clears the line, then release. Build a combo for a rising score multiplier, keep your health bar out of the red, and reach the end for a Song Clear with your accuracy and grade.
Controls
On desktop tap the lanes with keys D, F, J and K from left to right. On mobile, tap the four lane zones along the bottom of the screen. Space or P pauses, and M mutes.
Tips & tricks
- Watch the hit line, not the falling tiles, so your eyes lock to one spot and timing snaps into place.
- For hold notes, keep the lane pressed until the whole bar passes the line; releasing early dents your combo.
- Resist mashing empty lanes between notes; a wrong tap breaks your combo and costs health.
- Chase Perfects, not just hits, because the multiplier and your accuracy grade both reward tight timing.
