About Picross Logic
Picross Logic is pure deduction. No luck, no guessing once you've read the clues right. Every number along a row or column tells you the length of an unbroken run of filled cells, in order, with at least one gap between runs. Cross-reference the rows against the columns, mark the cells you know are empty, and a little picture quietly emerges, a heart, an anchor, a sailboat, eight in all. It's calm and slightly addictive in the best way: each correct line locks in and turns green, so you always know you're on the right track. The grid is drawn entirely with code, which means there's no artwork to load and nothing phones home, and it runs fully offline. Tap or drag to fill, flip the little corner switch to mark empty cells, and on desktop right-click is the opposite brush. How to play Picross Logic
Each row and column carries number clues. Take a clue like "5 3 1": read that line left-to-right (or top-to-bottom) and it contains a run of 5 filled cells, then a gap, then 3 filled, a gap, then 1 filled. Use the clues from both directions together to work out exactly which cells must be filled and which must stay empty. Fill every correct cell and a hidden picture appears, completing the puzzle. There are eight boards in all, and solving one takes you to the next.
Controls
Tap or click a cell to fill it; tap-and-drag to fill a straight line of cells. Use the small two-square switch in the bottom-right corner of the board to toggle your brush between Fill and X (mark-as-empty). On desktop, right-click paints with the opposite brush. Reset clears the current board.
Tips & tricks
- Start with the biggest clue in a line, if a run is large enough it must overlap the middle cells no matter where it sits, so fill those in first.
- Mark cells you have proven empty with an X; ruling cells out is just as powerful as filling them in.
- When a row's clues already add up (numbers plus the required single-cell gaps) to the full width, the whole line is forced, fill it instantly.
- Bounce between rows and columns, a cell you just filled in one row often unlocks a column clue, which unlocks another row.
- Watch the clue numbers turn green; that is your signal a line is fully and correctly solved, so you can move on with confidence.
