How to play Minesweeper
Reveal squares one at a time. Each number tells you how many mines touch that square, and from those clues you deduce which neighbouring squares are safe and which are deadly. Flag the squares you're sure hide a mine, and clear every safe square to win — one wrong click and it's game over.
Controls
Left-click to reveal a square, right-click to plant or remove a flag.
Tips & tricks
- Start in the open middle to reveal a big safe area.
- A number touching exactly that many hidden squares means they're all mines.
- Flag the mines you're certain of to keep the board readable.
