About Helix Smash
Helix Smash takes that satisfying ball-drop helix tower and wraps it in a neon, color-shifting glow that just keeps pulling you down. Near the top of a tall tower built from stacked perspective ellipse rings, a little ball bounces in place. Your one job? Spin the whole tower until an empty gap sits right under it. Bounce through that gap and the camera dives to the next ring, your depth climbs, and the tower quietly hue-shifts as you go. Here's the real hook, though. Drop cleanly through two rings in a row and your ball ignites into a glowing smash ball that crashes straight through the next platform instead of bouncing, sending debris flying everywhere. Push deeper and the rings turn nasty, with narrower gaps and more of those red danger wedges that end your run the instant you touch one. Every six rings there's a little level-cleared fanfare to keep the momentum rolling. It's fast and tactile, built for the one-more-try itch, and your best depth is saved so each run is a fresh crack at the record.
How to play Helix Smash
Tap Play, then drag left or right anywhere on the tower to rotate every ring around the central axis. The aim is simple: spin an empty gap directly under the bouncing ball so it falls through to the next ring and your depth ticks up. Land on a solid colored wedge and you just bounce back up, so keep rotating until that gap lines up. Drop through two or more rings in a row without bouncing and the ball turns gold, charging a smash that blasts clean through the very next platform. One touch of a red danger wedge, though, and it's over. Guide the gap, not the red, all the way down.
Controls
On desktop, drag with the mouse or use A / D or the Left / Right arrow keys to spin the tower; press P to pause and M mutes. On mobile, just drag left or right with your finger anywhere on the tower to rotate it, and tap the on-screen buttons to pause or mute.
Tips & tricks
- Line the gap up a beat early, while the ball is still rising, so it is already waiting when the ball comes back down.
- Two clean drops in a row turn the ball gold; save that smash to punch through a ring that is walled with red.
- Big drags throw the tower with inertia, which feels fast but overshoots, so use small nudges when a gap is tight.
- Deeper rings hide a second gap fairly often, so glance below the ball and pick whichever gap needs less spinning.
- After a smash you keep falling instead of bouncing, so have the next gap roughly aligned before you trigger it.
