About Box Pusher
Box Pusher is a classic Sokoban-style logic puzzle stripped down to its purest, most satisfying form. You walk a tiny figure around tight grid rooms and shove wooden crates onto marked targets, one square at a time. Here's the catch: you can only push, never pull, so a single careless step can wedge a crate into a corner and force a restart. There are six rooms. They start friendly, then steadily ramp into proper head-scratchers that reward planning your route before you commit. Everything is drawn live on a canvas, so it loads instantly, runs fully offline, and scales cleanly from phone to desktop. Play with swipes, the on-screen D-pad, or arrow and WASD keys, and tap Restart whenever you paint yourself into a corner. It's a quiet, thinky game with no timers and no pressure, just you versus the boxes. Open-source game by Pwter, used under the MIT license.
How to play Box Pusher
Move your character around the room to push the wooden crates. Slide every crate onto a glowing ring target to clear the level. You can only push crates, never pull, and you can't push two crates at once or push one into a wall, so think a few moves ahead. Clear all targets to advance to the next of six rooms.
Controls
Swipe on the board or use the on-screen D-pad to move. On desktop, use Arrow keys or WASD to walk and R to restart. Buttons let you jump to the previous or next level or restart the current one.
Tips & tricks
- You can only push, never pull, so never shove a crate into a corner unless that corner is a target.
- Plan your full route before you start moving; backing out of a mistake usually means a full restart.
- Keep crates off walls when you can. A crate against a wall can only slide along that wall.
- Solve the crates that are hardest to reposition first, then mop up the easy ones.
- Stuck for good? Tap Restart instead of fighting a dead position.
